Found this looking for something quick to play on the bus, and I'm totally hooked! The controls are super simple and the rounds are fast. Exactly what I needed. A perfect time-killer! The pixel art is charming too.

The mechanics are surprisingly tight for a casual hopper. It's all about timing and reading the traffic patterns. My only complaint? Wish the log-jumping physics were slightly more consistent for those high-altitude runs. Still, my current score is 165 and climbing. Easy to learn, hard to master, they nailed it.
As someone who grew up on Frogger clones, Crossy Road is the spiritual successor we deserved. It takes the core concept and amplifies the dopamine rush with the character collecting. My only minor gripe is the coin drops feel a little stingy sometimes, but the overall loop is brilliant. Solid execution, devs.
OMG this game is SO addictive! I just downloaded it yesterday and I cannot put it down. I keep trying to unlock the "Hipster Whale" character—it's so cute! I usually play shooters, but this casual style is really fun. Who knew crossing a road could be this intense? Highly recommend!
A masterclass in minimalist game design. The risk/reward of the coin collection versus getting run over creates a beautiful tension. The threat of the eagle prevents camping, forcing strategic forward movement. The visual language is clear, though I do think the train speed variance could be slightly better balanced for maximum psychological impact. An excellent little loop.
